Inspections should be straight forward and simple.
Let's make it that way.
General Inspection Guidelines:
No matter the scope outline above a report will be generated for your consideration. If any defects are observed a cost or recommendation to fix these issues will also be included. We also will ensure that any defects are outlined in a logical manner for you to share with your team. If needed we will also do a meeting to outline the results of the test with you or your team.

Flame Testing or Curtain Inspection
This is our most popular service and inspection. This inspection is to be done yearly and ensures that theatrical stage curtains are flame retardant. We complete this test according to the NFPA 705 Practice for a Field Flame Test, we then opt for a Method Two Test or NFPA 705 4.2. This method ensures that the curtain does not need to be tested offsite, or that any significant damage comes from the inspection.

Rigging Inspections
While there is not a set code for rigging inspections there are standards set out by ANSI - ESTA E1.47 - 2020 for theatrical rigging systems. These are categorized into two different levels.
Level One: This inspection should happen yearly and is performed from accessible positions. This is considered a check up inspection with sets being run and checked for unsafe conditions. Most of the rigging system is checked and documented on its condition.
Level Two: While this varies based on the type of system. This is typically done every 5 years and requires access to the entire system, typically using a lift. This is considered an in depth comprehensive inspection of the system typically taking a day.

Lighting Assessments
These are relatively in the theatrical world and came about because of the complexity of the system. We come in and ensure the lighting system is functional and safe. This is normally done by testing all fixtures and the console and doing some basic troubleshooting and fixing if time allows.
